Official Rules for “Save Our Summer”

The “Save Our Summer” campaign starts on May 1, 2008 and ends on September 30, 2008.  A $20 H-E-B gift card will be given to red cell donors presenting to give blood twice during this promotion. The gift card will be mailed after completion of the compaign.

Eligibility: The gift card is open to legal residents, 17 years or older, of the 50 United States, who present to give blood at any South Texas Blood & Tissue Center donor room or mobile blood drive.

Platelet or plasma donations are not included in the giveaway. Autologous, direct and therapeutic procedures do not qualify as a donation.

Persons intending to donate blood must complete a donor record provided by South Texas Blood & Tissue Center in order to be eligible; however, persons are not required to donate to be eligible.

South Texas Blood & Tissue Center is not responsible for lost or incorrectly delivered mail. Any gift card returned via mail to STBTC becomes the property of STBTC and is considered forfeited.

South Texas Blood & Tissue Center is not responsible for lost or stolen prizes.

Gift cards are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash from STBTC.

The winner agrees to hold STBTC harmless in the event of present or future injuries that may occur through acceptance of the prize.

South Texas Blood & Tissue Center reserves the right to permanently disqualify any person that it believes has intentionally violated these official rules.

Winners are responsible for any and all taxes incurred.

Sponsor and its agents are not responsible for error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of, or failure of Sponsor to receive entry information on account of technical or any combination thereof. If the giveaway becomes technically corrupted or compromised due to any of the foregoing or other factors or non-authorized human intervention, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to (a) terminate the giveaway; (b) terminate any method of entry; and/or (c) select  winners from the eligible entries received prior to the termination.
